Program description
Young Moviemakers is an award-winning acting and film program for children and youth ages 5-18. Participants of the Yo Go Fun virtual program will collaborate with local youth from Vancouver, Canada and learn the importance of visual storytelling, scriptwriting, acting, editing and more, through the creation and production of a short film. With the help of our experienced instructors, participants will work in groups to develop and produce their work, which will then be virtually premiered in front of family, friends and the community.

Red Carpet Gala
Young Moviemakers celebrates the success of its participants at the end of every year with a Red Carpet Awards Gala! With over 100 shorts produced in a year, the top films are nominated for the coveted "Best Picture" and "Best Performance" awards and for the first time ever, Young Moviemakers will debut it's "Best Virtual Production".
